To be honest, I'm not much of a foodie or a critic, so I'll just settle to put it as I felt it. I'm not going to review the ingredients quality, the cooking or the minute details of the food served.
My plan is to do "what's recommended", in this case I said I'll do "4 courses with Wines" and the helpful staff pointed me to the right options from the list of starters.
How was it?
In short: I enjoyed it very much, it is worth visiting.
It definitely merits a place in the top 50, but was it mind-blowing? Mmm.. I did like it and would visit it again for sure. The high-light of the meal was the main course. It stood out and was special. The mains was a selection Kimchi (restaurant made, points for that) and other goodies with a grill of meat and mushrooms. That was the perfect enjoyment of compiling the dish as you wish. Just the right amount of work to get stuff in to your mouth.
As for the other food, it was good: the Banana dessert and pancake (starter) was meh, while the Tartar (starter) was spectacular.
Considering this is the first on out of the 34, it is difficult to judge, but if you would force my hand I would say that this restaurant to me was a solid 8, if you are keeping score.
Ps. Special mention and bonus points for the Sommelier. He loved his job and knew his wines.
